Not your usual Dim Sum decor and services. A pleasant surprise. The foods, on the other hand, are mostly miss. Fried rice is good with a little Soy Sauce. The Chive/pork dumplings are flavorful but doughy. The Salt and Peppers pork chops are bland and the salt/peppers are rubbery.

I've been seeing a lot of posts about this restaurant on social media. Finally got to try it today. Prince Dumplings looks unassuming from the outside, located in a shopping plaza. But once you get inside, it is giving a modern, sleek, and sharp interior. There was a wait when we arrived, however, we didn't have to wait that long and got seated shortly thereafter. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Everything that we tried was so refined and elevated in flavors. Very well prepared. Very solid and exceeded my expectations.

We have been coming here since the soft open a year or so ago and it’s become our de facto Dim Sum place along with Lunasia Alhambra. Their Xia Long Bao is some of the best in the USA. DTF still reigns supreme for its clean taste. But would say this place tastes similar to what you’ll find in Shanghai where it originated - thicker dough. The rest of the food is great. Mustard Greens in Garlic. String Beans. Fried Noodles. Cucumber. All with Home-style authenticity. Like how unfussy the food is. Simple. Good.

The food didn't taste bad, it's edible, but nothing impressed me. Some food was a bit on the greasy side, and the portion was small for the price. Xiao Long Bao dough skin was excellent, holding all the soup filling without leaking. But the taste to me it's like the Costco microwave Xiao Long Bao. The service was good though. In conclusion, if you like Ding Tai Fung, but want to find a cheaper version, you can come to this place, but I won't come here again.

So many vegan options! Good thing I wore my stretchy pants and brought the munchies. I love how most of the vegan options are a vibrant green, really sets the vibe. If you haven’t visited the San Gabriel Valley make sure you explore their food scene and drop by Prince Dumpling for some grub. Happy Munchies, @aVeganAndHer

I had a great experience at Prince Dumpling! The dumplings were good and juicy, with a nice crispy bottom and tender wrapper. You can really taste the freshness and quality in each bite. I especially loved the pork and chive — super flavorful and satisfying. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and service was quick and friendly. It’s a cozy spot that’s perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. If you’re a dumpling lover, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’d come back to try more!

“There are so many Asian people dining here, it must be really good.” It's me, I'm one of the Asian people eating there XD Soup dumplings are basically one of my favorite things ever, and you can take a peek at the chefs making them fresh through the glass. And don't make the same mistake as I did, wearing all-white because their juicy pan-fried pork buns will literally squirt all over you omg. But trust me, all their other dishes on the menu are delicious too, like the beef rolls, cucumber salad, and black pepper beef cubes, but you just can't sleep on their carby dishes. The dumpling wrappers are so delicate and filled with so much soup. Dan dan noodles are a must-get here, and their spicy beef noodle soup is on the sweeter side. Thanks for reading! ^-^

I didn't expect much because the entrance and sign looked somewhat sketchy, but the inside was seriously a 5 star restaurant with 5 star food and 5 star service. The restaurant was very clean and they also have a window of live kitchen for XLB wrapping. I had pork XLB, lobster XLB, potstickers, fried rice, walnut shrimps and some sweet XLB. Everything was very good! The savory XLB was perfect. All the wrapping was perfect and none of them leaked. The meat portion was generous. The soup was very delicious. The fried rice was delicious to the point I wanna have it for Chinese new year. Sweet XLBs have thin wrapping and generous filling. I love them too. The menu here is mainly XLB and potstickers. There are a few other Chinese dishes too. This reminded me of din tai fung but the menu here is more extensive and the price is much more affordable. You also don't have to queue for a long time. Totally a hidden gem! They should consider making the entrance more attractive.
